The Hardest Part About Sleek MakeUP’s New Blush by 3 Is Deciding Which Color To Use First

Read ALL about my review process including how I take swatches, photos, and more here.

I ever tell you guys how my post office is thee absolute worst? Despite the fact that I work from home and that UPS and Fedex packages get delivered up to my apartment often, my postal carrier seems to think it’s beneath him to deliver my packages. So instead of coming upstairs, ringing my doorbell, and handing me my packages, this joker puts a delivery notice in my mailbox which is located in my lobby. EVERY TIME I GET A PACKAGE. Then when I check the mail later in the afternoon, I still have to wait another business day because you know the post office is only going to say the package is still on the truck. Emailing and calling USPS customer service has grown tired as clearly the problem still exists. I bet this type of frustration is how Panem was formed in The Hunger Games.

So anyway, I actually got Sleek MakeUP’s new Blush by 3 and Glo Face & Body Highlighter in the mail from the brand’s PR on Monday, but had to wait until Tuesday to get it from the post office. Of course on Tuesday I had some appointments and then Wednesday was no good either, so I didn’t get my paws on these babies until yesterday. Seriously, what sort of world do we live in when beauty packages are not delivered promptly?

*plots a rebellion against USPS*

Anyway, my love for Sleek MakeUP’s awesomely pigmented and long-lasting blush range (plus each one is just $6) has now been tripled with the launch of the “Blush by 3” collection ($15.99 each at sleekmakeup.com). In all there are five Blush by 3 compacts each one containing, you guessed it, three blush shades. Each one has at least one shade with a shimmer finish save for Pink Sprint which has all mattes.

I got Pink Sprint which contains three lovely degrees of bold pink perfect for my dark skin. I haven’t seen the Blush by 3 shades in person, but looking at them shows shades for just about anyone (quick rule of thumb for blush: the deeper your skin, the brighter the blush).

I don’t even know if words exist in my vocabulary to describe how beautiful and pigmented the Pink Sprint shades are. One is a vivid raspberry, another a bold fuchsia, and the other a punchy berry. They’re matte, but glide silky smooth on the skin and kept up it’s intensity even on my oily skin for seven hours. The compact is sturdy and slim enough to fit in any makeup bag or purse so you can easily carry it for touch-ups.

Pink Sprint is a definite must-have IMO. Get it plus check out the other four shades (think I may need Lace, too) here.

You know how I feel about highlighters…lol. Glo Face & Body Highlighter contains 5 shimmery shades in one compact that you can swipe all together or strategically pick which shades to use. All together they provide a BEAUTIFUL champagne glow without shimmer. I love a highlighter than can do it’s thing without the shimmer and that lasts (I got a little over 6 hours of wear on my oily skin). Glo comes in a neat little compact that can also fit in any purse or makeup bag and best yet, it’s only $10 at sleekmakeup.com. It also comes in two additional shades: Gold Digga and Peach Shimmer. Get it here.

You can also use a kabuki brush to buff Glo onto the décolleté and shoulders.

Sleek MakeUP ships to the United States for a flat fee of $13.50. Yes, I know that seems like a lot, but I always say an order of $30-40 makes it worthwhile and since everything is so inexpensive, you can get a lot of makeup for $40 ;)

What do you think of Blush by 3 and Glo Face & Body?
