I had a really fun photo shoot (details soon but it involves lipstick—LOTS of lipstick) shot by my pal from way back Nasilele Photography (we lived next door to each other in college which was like te—two years ago aha) and posted pics of the SUPERB makeup job my buddy Mila Thomas did for me on Instagram and Facebook and some of you wanted to know what she used on me so here we go!
First and foremost, Mila beat my face so hard that I needed an ice pack after she was done. CHILE! She makes me want to start giving myself an extra 90 minutes to get dressed so I can beat my face like this every time I go out…lol.
I was running my mouth all the while so I wasn’t paying attention to what she used on my face, but Mila was kind enough to send me a breakdown…

What is your match master foundation shade ? Did she use mac studio fix power to set your foundation (nc42 / nw 45) ? You look beautiful !
Author
Hey!
Thanks! I don’t have a match actually. She likely mixed a few shades together around the 7.5 and 8 ranges. And yes, Studio Fix to set.
For the record I don’t typically wear MAC foundation because some of the formulas break me out :/
Love it. It looks different from what you notmally do to yourself

Did she use the liquid or compact MAC Studio Fix NW45?
Can you please do a tutorial on contouring and types of concealers for highlighting? If you already can you link it.

Hi Lorie!
Thanks for reading my blog!
Any topic you’re interested can be found by using the search tool on the right hand side—it’s powered by Google so it works really well. Then each post has categories at the top and tags at the very bottom that also link to more posts within that particular category. There’s TONS of content on this site since I started it in 2007 so there’s tons for you to read on in just about any fashion or beauty topic.
When you use the search box for highlight contour, my most recent post comes up and then in that post there’s a “contouring” category linked at the top with even more posts.
Hope this helps!
Thanks Danielle! Will check it out
