Another beauty mission of mine (besides getting more of you to wear blush) is to get more of you to not only wear sunscreen, but to reapply it every two hours when you’re outdoors. But I know that’s a pretty tough task when there’s been so many sunscreens out there that did us wrong. They don’t blend into our skin leaving a white, ashy cast or they smell like moth balls. Who’s going to want to wear something that does that? Exactly.
So every time I come across great sunscreens that feel and look good on the skin, I’ve put up a post. You can see my previous reviews and other sun care related posts here. Recently Hawaiian Tropic’s PR team sent over three more that I can happily add to the list. Not only do they immediately blend into the skin, but they also smell great and two of them actually make you look more radiant. IMAGINE THAT!
Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch Lotion Sunscreen Ultra Radiance (broad spectrum SPF 30) is like a dream come true in the land of SPF. Not only is it affordably found at drugstores and smells great (a little sweet and a little coconutty), but it also has very fine particles of shimmer in it—no not like prom night shimmer—but grown up radiant shimmer. I can totally be down with this. And the key—it blends right in the skin with no ashy mess and doesn’t feel greasy at all. It’s also water resistant for up to 80 minutes but you want to make sure you reapply your sunscreen after you get wet as well.
Then there’s Hawaiian Tropic Dry Oil Clear Spray Sunscreen (broad spectrum SPF 30). It has the same sweet scent as the Sheer Touch except this comes in a spray. It’s one of the easier ways to apply sunscreen and one of my favorite ways for when I’m out and on the go.
And last but certainly not least, Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Face Oil-Free Lotion Sunscreen (broad spectrum SPF 30). If you wear sunscreen on your body, you might have felt that sunscreen for your face can sometimes be too heavy and too greasy. I loved how this one sinks right into the skin and within a minute or so it feels like you didn’t even put anything on. As it wore on it didn’t make me excessively oily either. #WIN
Bottom line: Three great choices for sunscreen especially for the girl who doesn’t like sunscreen.
