I’m back! Okay maybe just briefly—the plan is to come back full swing with posts on Monday. My break wasn’t really a break as I had a ton of obligations to do during my time away: filming beauty videos for Target, writing stories for StyleBlazer.com, and making press appointments. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to take a real deal break..lol.
But I’m back with another really fun collaboration I started working on way before I started my break. In case you haven’t noticed, I LOVE makeup…lol and I love that we all come in so many gorgeous shades, sizes, and shapes. I also have so many blogger pals I love and respect so I had it in mind to collaborate with some of these gorgeous ladies to show how one lipstick color looks SO fabulous on so many different skin tones. But not only that because you know I’m always trying to get more women to stop being so scared of blush, we’re all wearing the same blush shade, too.
Lipstick: Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Best Red
Blush: Milani Cosmetics Matte Baked Blush in Bella Rosa
Best Red (matte) is a blue-red with a touch of pink. It’s not as bright or as flat of a finish as Ruby Woo nor does it have as much blue to it. It’s a great red that will work on most skin tones and it’s matte without being overly drying.
Bella Rosa (matte) is a bold rosy shade.
Check out more pics of all of us rocking the colors! Be sure to check out all of these ladies’ fab blogs and follow them on social :)

Blush: Milani blush with Nars Contour Blush in Paloma on top. Paloma is dual sided with a highlighter on one side and “blush” that’s so dark I can use it as a bronzer on the other. The highlighter I use on the top of my cheekbone and blend up with the bronzed blush. And use it over the Milani and around my face to warm up the look.
Eyes: Clinique quickliner for eyes intense in Intense Black and Kevyn Aucoin The Volume Mascara

I am wearing my Bella Rosa asap
Oh wow I love these shades and they work so great on all the ladies! I need to get me some. :)
This post is brilliant! A lot of women (well, sometimes including me) are too held back by fears of what matches their skin tones and what not. Everyone looks stunning in those shades! You girls are gorgeous.
This is cool. It’s nice seeing how one product looks on different people and skintones.

yay—glad you liked it :)
I love how this collaboration shows one color on different skin tones. It suits everyone so well.
