A few months ago IT Cosmetics sent over their range of makeup brushes for review consideration. Since then I’ve been using them in many of my makeup looks and found tons of new favorites and decided to share like any good beauty blogger would ;)
Now there’s some IT Cosmetics brushes I use a lot more than others (and that’s not saying they aren’t good—they’re just not needed in my particular routine as much but that doesn’t mean they won’t be loved in yours) but I’m putting them all together because well, I took pics of all of them when I first got them and it’s just easier that way…lol.
Mega Fan Brush
I LOVE this to apply my contour! (see which shades I use in my complexion routine here) It gives me such great precision without adding too much product. It’s also good for bronzer, but I use another brush for bronzer more than this one which I’ll get to soon.
Dual Airbrush Foundation Concealer Brush
I love a dual brush because they save time and space. I have to say I don’t use this one that often because I LOVE using my Ashunta Sheriff Beauty brush to apply foundation and concealer and then I blend it out with my beautyblender. But this is a good tool if you want an airbrush finish for your liquid or cream complexion products—the finish is really pretty and as I’m typing this I’m wondering why I don’t use it more…lol.
Jumbo Powder Brush
Um, they definitely mean JUMBO…lol. I liked this brush and found that the bristles were soft and applied powder product quite well, but I don’t use it that often. It’s almost a little too big for me plus I’ve been doing a “press and roll” method with makeup wedges to set my powder and found that helps keep my makeup on longer (it’s just as simple as it sounds—I dip the wedge into the powder and then press it into my skin and then gently roll in a back and forth motion to set).
Tightliner 10-in-1 Dual-Ended Brush
Great tool for applying liner—I just don’t use it very often. I do think the pointed end is perfect for blending in the corner of my eyes—I always find that I miss that very narrow area and that brush is perfect for making sure my concealer is properly applied and blended there.
Airbrush Powder and Bronzer
Super soft and high quality brush that can be used to apply both pressed and loose powder and bronzer. It gives a soft, airbrushed finish that I love.
Flat Top Buffing Foundation Brush
This brush is amazing! It gives your foundation (liquid, cream, or powder) a flawless, seamless finish. This is especially great if you’re just starting out and your foundation application seems streaky and “mask-y.” You can use it to apply your foundation and then set your powder right after, too.
Wand Ball Powder Brush
This is great for applying powder and blending highlight and contour lines. I find it much easier to handle than the Jumbo Powder Brush.
French Boutique Blush Brush
Um, I’m obsessed with this brush! It’s perfect for applying blush as it deposits color exactly where it needs to go on the apples of the cheeks. It’s also a bit hard to apply too much product with the way the bristles are distributed, but you can always layer if you want more color.
Dual Airbrush Concealer Brush
Although I don’t reach for it often, I love this because you can apply your concealer with one end and then use the other to set it with powder. It’s great for smaller areas and I like that each end has a cover.
Pointed Precision Complexion Brush
I liked this because it allows me to apply foundation in the contours and harder to reach areas of my face. It’s also small and compact so it can fit in any makeup bag.
Angled Radiance Brush
LOVE this for applying highlighting powders and bronzers on the tops of my cheekbones or anywhere I need a little glow. It could also work to contour particularly for smaller faces.
No Tug Dual Eyeshadow Brush
IT describes this as the FIRST EVER anti-aging and age preventative shadow brush that delivers flawless, airbrushed application without tugging on your delicate eyelids during the application process. As one of very few eyeshadow brush products the brand has, I thought it was just okay. The bigger end is okay for blending shadows and the flat end is nice for getting smaller areas and even creating a cut-crease look, but because there are such few eyeshadow brushes, it kinda loses points from me because it’s not versatile enough FOR ME (for you it might be everything depending on your makeup needs/routine).
Bottom line
Though it’ll be years before I can say if these IT Cosmetics brushes are durable, they really look and feel like they’d last a really long time and would be good long-term pieces. I had several “OMG THESE ARE AMAZING!!” moments with quite a few of them and I feel the brand does a great job with making the application process so much easier with these. Of course some brushes will be used more by others than some. I would like to see more additions in the eyeshadow brush range as there’s only two so far.
I didn’t see notes on what the brushes are made of, but as IT Cosmetics prides themselves as being a cruelty-free brand so I’m pretty sure they’re all synthetic.

Oh, they look lovely! I’m in need of a new brush set pronto! May give these a whirl.
Brushes look great. I wish they would make the foundation in shades for deeper skins as the founder Jaime says that she works with plastic surgeons in Brazil to create the skin products.
I want them all!! lol
I think this brand is under rated I’ve Been using heir brushes for over a year and I’m super impressed ! I have the velvet line and they are so soft and they survive the wash too ! I’m a fan !
