1981 was quite the spectacular year. It’s the year in which an elite club of greats like Beyoncé, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Hudson, Justin Timberlake, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Nicole Richie, and yours truly were all born. And these four numbers printed on a sweatshirt being held up by a teenage boy I overheard asking his friend if she knew whose year of birth it was, nearly had me queening out in H&M…lol. I’m one of those SUPER corny people like that and had actually been looking for shirts that had the glorious year on it so seeing that immediately had me walking over to the boy and asking him to show me exactly where he found it…lol.
It’s a men’s sweatshirt from H&M but it’s very slim-fitting which is what I love about shopping the men’s section there. As a 5’9″ fashion junkie, I get something that isn’t so obviously men’s AND I also get things like covered wrists that I don’t always get in the women’s section unless the brand happens to also sell Tall sizes.
Ha—I just realized so much of my outfit is from the men’s section. I’m also LOVING my jacket because again—it’s slim-fitting so it doesn’t look completely mens-y and I get sleeves that cover my wrists. WINNING. Even though I don’t actually have the jacket on here…lol.
