I bought this oversized scarf from Zara a few weeks ago and thank goodness I did because after coming down with a cold last week, I needed it to *Wu-Tang voice* protect my neck! OK—well not really thank goodness because I have like 353,267 scarves so I could have used one of those, but something about a new scarf makes me all giddy.
ANYWAY so I love this scarf because it’s all HUGE and comfy and warm and perfect (except for the hairs my lips catch and the ones that get in my mouth sometimes SMH) BUT because it’s so big and fluffy, it can be kind of hard to style. So I figured I’d share some ways in which I tie an oversized scarf. And in some instances by tie I mean “throw it over me real quick.”
1. The Easy Toss-On
I literally just put the scarf around my neck without tying it…lol. Took like one second.
2. The Faux Infinity
Here I tied the scarf around my neck once and then tucked the excess into itself. It helps to keep one end much longer than the other when you loop it around your neck.
3. The Loose Bow
This is pretty much what I did in the last look but I didn’t tuck the ends in.
4. The Faux Snood
I folded the scarf in half and let it drape over my head and then looped the ends around my neck.
5. The Faux Cape
I folded the scarf in half and wrapped it over my shoulders. I think this one might be my new fave…lol.

Hey Ahlia!
I LOVE them! OK—I’ve only worn them once but was really shocked at how comfy they are and easy to walk in. It’s funny because I bought them about a month or so ago and only wore them the first time to shoot this, but they surprisingly didn’t kill my feet. Walking around for hours is another story though—I haven’t tried that yet and likely won’t because I can’t remember the last time I wore heels for hours. I always carry flats and change into my heels unless I’m going to something where I have door to door transportation and won’t be out for long…lol.
cute! could also throw a belt around #5.
