Sleek MakeUP, one of my favorite drugstore makeup brands that isn’t in major stores here in the U.S., (but you can buy it for relatively little shipping from their online store) recently sent over six new (or at least new to me) shades. You can see previous Sleek MakeUP lipstick swatches and reviews here and all Sleek MakeUP reviews here. You can also see TONS of lipstick swatches (over 100!) on me here.
#780 Pink Freeze (Matte) a bright warm pink (I found this a little bit rough to apply but it surprisingly didn’t dry my lips out. I’m sure over time it’ll get easier to glide on much like MAC Ruby Woo is for me.)
#781 Amped (Matte) a bright magenta (Also a little hard to apply but same deal as Pink Freeze)
#795 Russian Roulette (Matte) a berry red (Easier to apply than the previous two)
#796 Smoudler (Sheen–which is like a cross between a cream and a sheer—not as creamy as a cream and definitely not a sheer) a deep berry brown
#798 Succumb (Sheen) a mauvey pink that would also make a nice nude on deeper skin
Wear on these are pretty average for a lipstick (about 5-6 hours) with of course the mattes lasting longer and the deeper shades lasting longer than the lighter shades since they tend to leave a bit of a stain.
Bottom line: Pretty shades but nothing that’s an absolute must-have. These would be great add-ons if you’re placing an order though—I’m obsessed with a ton of Sleek MakeUP products (contour kit, blush, etc) and you can see all my posts and reviews here.
