Attempting to make this review short (don’t I always say that? LOL) but the new NYX High Definition Blush might be one of the most amazingly pigmented blushers I’ve seen on the drugstore level. They’re legitimately LEGIT.
Official description:
A high definition, lightweight blush that blends evenly. This vibrant and silky blush delivers a beautiful flush of color and is paraben free.

I picked up one shade while I was in Trinidad (see, this beauty blogging stuff never quits—even when I’m visiting the motherland…lol) and one was in my bag from The Makeup Show blogger preview. I have…
HDB18 Crimson: described as a bright red with soft glitter (matte—the glitter is red, too and is very, very subtle)
HDB24 Electro: described as a bright fuchsia (matte)
So the pigment on NYX High Definition Blush is SO strong and amazing you have to blend it down to tone it down. But this is SO not a bad thing at all because you can vary how strong or subtle you want your cheek to be.

Wear is also amazing. I put it on around 3:30 PM to get ready for an event and here I am at 9:53 PM typing this review and it’s still showing up beautifully even though I toned it down for more of a flushed kind of look. I’ll have to check out more of the bolder colors (they come in TWENTY FOUR shades!!!)
Bottom line: NYX High Definition Blush is SO legit. Like seriously, it can contend with blush you’d buy at the department store. Only teeny gripe I have is the little bow design they put on the clasp makes it a little cumbersome to open, but shoot—it’s $6 and SUPER pigmented so who cares.
Price and where to buy: $6 each. See nyxcosmetics.com to purchase and for in-store locations near you.
Crimson looks like a must have! I definitely need it in my life
I love the crimson color. Seems like a no brainer at only $6.
Funny because I just purchased this and it is a STEAL. I was in a bind and needed something that would actually appear on my skin (as you may know, it can very often be a disappointment) The local drug store had a few shades of this particular product and and the ELF Blush Pallet of 4. Being I wasn’t quite sure which would work; they were all awesome colors; and both were under 6 bucks – I grabbed them both. Low and behold – BOTH made me so proud of my drugstore grabs!

Yay! I reviewed the elf blush palette, too. It doesn’t last as long as these NYX blushers but still a good steal :)
