BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector POURED: Moonstone, Opal, and Rose Gold {Swatches on Dark Skin}

Read ALL about my review process including how I take swatches, photos, and more here.

Making this one quick since I’ve already reviewed BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured here and showed you the difference between BECCA SSP Poured, Pressed, and the original liquid luminizer here. I think BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured is AMAZING and the brand sent over more shades for review. But to find out the whats and hows, make sure you read my original review. There’s nothing different from these and the other shade I reviewed (Topaz) other than they’re different colors.

Opal

See Topaz here

(I don’t have Pearl)

See my Strobing/Highlighter how-to post here

I love all four shades and they each serve a different purpose depending on the look you’re going for. I have a hard time picking just ONE highlighter (as you can see from all the highlighter posts I’ve done over the years) but I do find myself drawn to Opal a lot. But that can change as my makeup mood changes…lol.

Bottom line: Amazing—but make sure you read my original post here. There’s no shade that looks better on certain skin tones—I found all four to flatter my dark skin quite nicely.

Price and where to buy: $38 at Sephora (plus 4% cash back when you use eBates), BECCACosmetics.com, and BECCA counters.

    All of them look gorgeous on you! I especially love the pics of you wearing Opal. I think I’m gonna get that one in the liquid and Topaz in the poured then call it a day since I already have (and LOVE Blushed Copper). These things are so addicting lol

    I’m really loving rose gold! I’ve always had a thing for highlights with pinky/rosy tones to them

    They all look great on you. I haven’t purchased the Opal powder yet but I do have the liquid. Love me some Becca products!

    Thank you for saying that no one highlighter is meant for any one skin type. I was just shamed out of buying Moonstone at my local Sephora (I’m South Asian with medium olive skin) by two Sephora assistants being told even before trying it would be too ashy on me. Application and the brush you use is key, and it always depends on what looks beautiful to you. Thanks for a comprehensive run down on these!

      Hi Anita!

      Ughhh—sorry that happened to you but sooo happy you tried it anyway. Thanks for reading :)
