3 Bold NYX Intense Butter Gloss Lip Swatches

I’m simultaneously having a lip gloss moment right now in my personal makeup stash AND still being committed to my Summer of Swatching series so right now we’re combining both in this NYX Intense Butter Gloss post.

I’ve reviewed NYX Intense Butter Gloss before here and recently NYX sent over some products for review consideration (and to help with the Summer of Swatching series—thanks, NYX!) and three NYX Intense Butter Gloss shades were included.

So NYX Intense Butter Gloss is a super intense glossy gloss with full on pigment. They’re somewhat similar to the NYX Xtreme Shine Lip Cream I reviewed but I’d say these are a little thinner in consistency and more uh—buttery…lol. They’re really awesome though and not only do they wear well (I got good coverage even through eating and drinking though I’d say the Xtreme Shine Lip Creams might last a smidgen longer than the Intense Butter Gloss) but they also feel amazingly comfy on the lips.

I’d also say NYX Intense Butter Gloss has more bolder shades than the Xtreme Shine Lip Creams.

Funnel Delight (described as a hot pink)
Berry Strudel (described as a violet with blue undertone)
Orangesicle (described simply as “orange” lol)

All three shades are gorgeous and VERY intense but work on a very wide range of skin tones. If you find a color to be a bit too intense (like I did with Orangesicle, you can blot it down with a tissue to take out some of the intensity and still get a pretty color).

Bottom line: NYX Intense Butter Gloss is amazing! Great color payoff, great wear, comfy on the lips, and a really good price. Though it comes in 12 shades total, I need more shades…lol. This formula is too good to not have even more shades :)
