I’ll try my best to go quick with this one—there isn’t a ton that needs to be said about this palette…lol.
So I picked up the Morphe 35N Matte Color Eyeshadow Palette not really out of necessity, but more because I was curious on the quality and thought you guys might be interested, too. So as you can imagine, there are 35 shadows in this palette. They’re all matte—sometimes mattes on a less expensive scale can be a little wimpy on the pigmentation but these are awesome for the price—you’re not going to get the buttery smoothness of say an Urban Decay matte shadow, but for $22.99, you’ll live. Wear is good as well—I tested these without primer and after five hours only had a bit of creasing and a little fading. You definitely want to wear a primer with these to ensure longer wear.
Sorry about these weird-ish angles. My camera has been acting funny—I’m trying to time when it’s best to take it in for repairs.
Most shades in this palette are cool-toned with a few warm shades but all the shades are pretty muted. There are plenty of neutrals—a good amount of light neutrals and darker neutrals making this palette workable on virtually all skin tones. There’s enough shades to do a number of both day and night looks. Of course this is subjective, but there are likely only a few shades you may not get much use out of.

Bottom line: Morphe 35N Matte Color Eyeshadow Palette is a good buy for the price—they aren’t the best mattes, but for $22.99 for 35 shades, if you love the colors and you’re on a makeup budget, new to makeup and don’t want to toss a ton of cash trying things out, or if you’re just a makeup junkie who can always justify a new palette purchase—this might be for you.
Price and where to buy: $22.99 at morphebrushes.com. I’ve also seen these in beauty supply stores in NYC but priced closer to $40.
Not too bad without primer! Especially for the price. I was expecting a sheer chalky mess but for $22 this actually turned out pretty decently. I still haven’t tried anything from Morphe yet but this makes me want their warm neutral palette a little more lol. Thanks for sharing!
