This is the third of the Morphe Eyeshadow Palettes I recently bought to review. You can check out the other two here.
Morphe 35W Warm Eyeshadow Palette is as you guessed it, an eyeshadow palette that contains 35 warm eyeshadows. There’s a good mix of mattes, satins, and shimmers finishes. The palette is mostly warm-toned neutrals but there’s a few accent colors. Of course since these are on the warmer side they’ll suit those with warmer undertones, but those who are neutral, cool, or olive in undertone can rock this palette as well. The shadow colors also work well on virtually all skin tones. Most people will find the shades usable in most everyday looks.
Like the other two palettes, I was impressed that the matte shadows weren’t all wimpy in pigmentation. They’re not as smooth and pigmented as say an Urban Decay matte, but for the price these are pretty good. Too many times lower-priced mattes can tend to be super weak on the pigmentation and wear.
There are a few satin finish shades that were a little difficult to work with since they weren’t as smooth as the other shadows. And I did find the shimmery shades to be prone to fallout if you’re not careful with application. But for 35 shadows at $19.99, you’ll live…lol.
Wear is also pretty awesome—I was able to wear these for about five hours without a primer before it started to slightly crease. Of course you’ll want to wear a primer or base to ensure all-day wear without creasing or fading. It’s also very versatile—you’ll get tons of both day and nighttime looks from this palette.
I did find that this palette has a strong “factory” kind of smell. Like almost when you get a fresh box of crayons. I noticed this with the other palettes but way more with this one. I could barely keep it open for more than a minute even when I was just looking at the shades to refer back when I was writing this review. I couldn’t imagine using this on a daily basis unless the strong smell goes away after some time or I just got a smelly fluke.

Bottom line: Morphe 35W Warm Eyeshadow Palette is a good buy if you’re on a makeup budget or new to makeup and want a set of warm-toned neutrals in your stash that won’t set you back a ton. If you’re used to shadows from brands like Urban Decay, Make Up For Ever, and other department store and higher-end makeup brands, you’ll be a little disappointed but again, I think you’ll live since it’s $20.
