Not that you can see this skirt full-on in these pics because I have a thing for bouncing around when I’m having my picture taken (feels more like me than standing there trying to pose…lol), but I LOVE a good statement skirt. Typically a pencil skirt with some sort of cool detailing be it peplum at the waist, an origami design, or a big ole split—I’m here for it all. I’m also down for a mini skirt and sequins (as long as they don’t scratch and irritate my skin).

I’d been on a shopping hiatus for most of the year, but this fall I had to open up my change purse a bit because THERE’S SO MUCH GOOD STUFF out there. (See what I bought in my recent fall haul here). I bought this ASOS skirt because I’m obsessed with olive green and I LOVED the paperbag waist design on this skirt. Plus I love that a skirt like this can go with SO MUCH.

I always love looking at Asos, but always unsure of sizing. Any suggestions? Do you find they cut large (need to size down)?

Hey Cassandra!
ASOS sells many different brands so it’s hard to say because some brands are sized differently than others. Check out the size chart and compare with your measurements to be sure. I mostly order from the ASOS house brand and usually order my regular size for most items. Depends on the item and how I want it to fit as well. If something has a more oversized fit I may size down. ASOS offers free returns so you can order more than one size if you’re not sure.
