Hey folks! So if you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that last year I got under eye filler with Dr. Michelle Henry. But recently Refinery 29 did an article on me and I figured let me put up a new blog post so anyone curious from there can get more info.
I chronicled the entire process in video below so watch to see the actual procedure and how I looked after the healing process. I went through why I got it, what you can expect, and broke things down so make sure you have a snack when watching because it goes into detail.
As I mention in the video, filler does dissolve eventually. How quickly it dissolves varies from person to person—Dr. Henry said hers sometimes last two years. I feel like mine lasted exactly a year…lol. I’m going back to see Dr. Henry next week and will also film that so make sure you’re subscribed to my Youtube channel so you don’t miss out on that.
Also when it comes to pricing, it can vary depending on the type of filler you get (yes, there are types), the amount of filler you need, where you live (filler in NYC will be priced differently than say in the middle of the country), and the derm you go to. Your best bet is to have a consultation with your dermatologist to determine cost.
I would love to see all the details of your makeup for this video and of course the show because it is gorgeous! Everything is stunning – the eyeshadow (and I’m not an eyeshadow girl), the foundation, concealer, setting power down to the lip details which looks like only a gloss but I am here for it. Please post all those details or do a video.

Hey Couture!
This makeup is MONTHS old and was done by a makeup artist friend of mine for a TV appearance last year—neither one of us is going to remember what was used. Hi Danielle
Well done in your Refinery 29 article. I’m in my late 40s and now and considering whether to get fillers for parts of my face that has less elasticity.
On another note, I love your makeup, it’s very natural and radiant. I’d appreciate the details!!
All the best!
