If you have warm undertones, warm reds (aka orange-based) are the ones you should reach for first.

If you have cool undertones, cool reds (aka blue-based) are the ones you should reach for first.

If you have neutral undertones, you have a wider range of options to reach for first. You can do warm or cool toned reds.

There are reds that are more neutral in undertone and can look good on a wide range of people of varying undertones.
